What happened after the woman with the issue of blood was healed?

I’m Andy Smith, Ambassador for Transform Work.

Most of us will be familiar with doctor Luke’s account of the healing of the woman with the issue of blood who somehow knew all she had to do was touch the hem of Jesus’ garment.

But are you aware of what happened as a result? I was not until reading the bible in a year, I covered the story in Matthews chapter 9, but then in Matthew 14:34-36 I discovered when Jesus returned to that  area, the people all flocked to Jesus begging they might just touch the hem of His garment and as many touched were made well. I checked back and yes, the woman with the issue of blood was the only previous instance.

Wow – she had struggled for 12 years and took a chance to push through the crowd to get her healing and as a result of this, a healing revival ensued.

We can often have trials and difficulties, some of which can be long term, but when we hold steadfast to God, who knows what God will do through you and as a result of your faithfulness to Him.
