‘Therefore, tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says:
“Return to me,” declares the Lord,
“and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.’

Zechariah 1:3

What is the National Week of Prayer (NWoP)?

A nationwide invitation to pray - across workplaces, communities and churches - asking God to move powerfully across the UK. For nine days in October, brothers and sisters across the UK will be gathering to pray. It’s simple, united and national. No egos. No logos. Just bringing our nation before the Father. Things change when we pray - and even more when we pray together.

Why Christian Workplace, Professional and Sector Groups? Why Now?

Christian Workplace, Professional & Sector Groups already pray within our networks - but this is something bigger. This is about joining a nationwide wave of prayer, as part of the wider Church; interceding for each of the sectors God has placed us in and given us authority within - together with others across the UK. Because something shifts when we pray not just alone, but in unity across the nation.

How to Join In - It's Easy!

We’re asking each Group to host one digital lunchtime prayer event during NWoP. Just one hour. Online. Simple.

Bringing Your Colleagues to Jesus
The Scripture says that the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. We are constantly surrounded by blind men and women. We walk with them, talk with them, exchange emails, and sit in meetings with them.
Seeking God for the Right Method
We all share the same great assignment: to bear witness to Christ, to make disciples, and to live as salt and light wherever God has placed us. David Isaac Arinze explores the subject of seeking God for the right method in our workplaces.
Walking Against the Wind: Following Jesus in the Workplace
Walking with God often means walking against the current... Faith may be seen as private rather than transformational. And yet, we are sent.
Awake From Sleep: A Call to Faithful Living in Our Time
As believers seeking to live out our faith in the workplace, our shared commitments should be clear and intentional
Staging Miracles in Your Workplace
From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is filled with miracles, moments when God's power visibly changed lives and transformed impossible situations.
The 3-Witness Prayer Challenge
Weโ€™re calling every Believer in the workplace to band together under this biblical principle: choose three colleagues, commit to consistent, sacrificial prayer, and watch Godโ€™s transforming power at work in their lives.
Speaking blessings over your workplace or sphere of influence
Transform Work have partnered with our Associate Anne de Leyser from Local Houses of Prayer (LHOP) to bring you a framework she developed for speaking blessings over your workplace or sphere of influence.
Click On These Videos to Pray For The Specific Sector
Workplace leaders have pre-recorded prayers for their specific sectors. Why not watch and pray along with them? Please do share these with your church and prayer networks.
Testimonies When People Pray
Listen to these workplace testimonies and be encouraged. If you have a testimony please email us your video or story so we can share with others.
Use These Prayer Points For Your Workplace
Below are 28 prayer points that you might like to use. Feel free to pick the ones relevant to your organisation...
Praying Together in the Group
When praying in the group, it is especially important that the different Christian traditions represented by group members are respected and reflected in how you pray.
Prayer Walks
Generally prayer walks can be used when you are praying for the organisation, for the work that goes on there, and for its employees. I
Prayer Request System
Set up a facility for anyone within the organisation/workplace to request prayer for any issues they would like.
Prayer Conference Calls
Frequently an organisation has Christian groups that meet in buildings in different locations, often some distance from one another. Conference calls are a great way to keep connected across the organisation.
The Office Prayer Network That Grew From 2 to 30
The amazing story of how an office prayer network grew rapidly and saw astounding answers to prayer
Post a Prayer
A simple and attractive way of offering to pray for staff, used within Network Rail - a bright red postbox. Prayer requests are prayed over at the CWG's weekly meeting
Week of Prayer
A week of prayer is a specific week set aside for prayer where a range of different prayer activities are held. Although this probably works best among the larger groups, the idea can be applied within a group whatever the size.
Healing Meetings
Remember that it is important to keep your managers and HR involved in what you are doing. In most cases your prayer activities and the means by which you advertise them will require permission from senior managers and HR.
